After graduating from college, Sherry was singing in a community chorus when she found a prospective Sweet Adeline chorus in Norway, Maine and she was hooked on barbershop for life! Prior to moving back home to Indiana in 1982, she became the director of this prospective chorus. Sherry continued her barbershop career when she joined the River Bend Chorus in 1982 and served as Assistant Director for 14 years. During her years with River Bend she also served as choreographer, show chairman, section leader, and board member. In the early 1990's, Sherry directed the Bonneyville Mill Chorus in Elkhart, IN and the Little River Chorus in Angola, IN from 1997 to 2001, during which time she became a Certified Director. In 1996, she joined the Melodeers Chorus in Northbrook, IL where she has served as an assistant director, lead section leader, and tape evaluator.Sherry has the honor of holding four International Chorus Championship gold medals earned with the Melodeers.She recently joined the Grand Rapids Chorus, and is now one of a few Sweet Adelines who actively sing with three choruses. Throughout her barbershop career, Sherry has sung in numerous award-winning Sweet Adeline quartets and is currently the lead in the 2009 Region 3 Top Ten Quartet, JazzKatz.Sherry has also been active on the Lake Michigan Region 3 Management Team. having held the offices of Education Coordinator, Directors Coordinator, and Chapter Coordinator. After a two-year hiatus, Sherry returned to the team in 2009 as the Communications Coordinator. Sherry and her husband Clay have 5 feline children. |

Kristin began her music career at age 11 playing the clarinet in the grade school band. She soon switched to the bass clarinet, followed by the saxophone and then French Horn, which she payed as part of the band, orchestra and jazz band in school. Kristin graduated with a B.S. in Business Marketing and a minor in vocal performance from Ball State University. After college, Kristin taught private voice and French horn lessons and has been a church choir director for 15 years. She currently works for Woodwind and Brasswind in the Sales department. Since joining Sweet Adelines nearly 10 years ago, Kristin has served as an assistant director, associate director, chorus team leader, secretary, and treasurer. She also served as a regional team leader for Region 3 of Sweet Adelines as the Communications Technology Coordinator. Kristin earned her director certification through Sweet Adelines in 2004. Kristin has sung in four different quartets over the past 8 years singing baritone, lead and tenor and is currently the tenor in JazzKatz. Kristin and her husband Tim have two children and one bassett hound. |

Peg has been a Sweet Adeline since 1972 when she joined the Coldwater, MI chorus. After earning a 1st place medal with that chorus, she moved to Indiana where joined forces with a group of women who became the founding members of the River Bend Chorus in 1977. She is one of three founding members who still sing with River Bend. Peg holds a Master or Music degree and taught music for 20 years. She is still active as a church organist and piano teacher, as well as being an avid genealogist with two family histories published. Besides currently serving as Assistant Director, Peg has held several other positions in the chorus, including Show Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, board member, and music team member. At one point Peg served as director when a former director had to resign. |
